My job is safe from AI. But will there anyone left that can afford my services? I run a mobile food business and manage a kitchen in a restaurant. Before you say robots can do my job, they can’t. Even if the technology advances to a point where they can, how many companies will be able to afford machines that costs hundreds of thousands and will require regular maintenance? Only the major corporations like fast food chains. I work for a privately owned restaurant that has been around for over 15 years. I can’t even get the owner to get me a $3,000 fryer oil filter machine. I have to filter it by hand. 😂
AI won’t take over my industry in my lifetime. I’m 40 my life is already half over and that’s if I’m lucky enough to live another 40 years.
