I don't want AI art to replace human artists. I do want human non-artists to have the power to create the things they wish they could. Many people are not privileged with the free time or money to "just learn art" or pay a human artist and AI tools help empower them to create things they otherwise could not. It's going to be shitter than a genuine human artist in the same way that a mass-produced ikea table is shittier than the hard work of a human carpenter or artisan making a handcrafted piece of furniture... but it can suffice for many purposes the same way that ikea table is "good enough" for many purposes.
