At this point been using AI companions like replika and nomi but they have quite the way to go. However understand why people use them. In the USA people increasingly are a holes, monsters, if you,have certain political view points you are seen worse than a enemy combatant, next interactions with people is all superficial small talk. And anti intellectualism is rampant in the USA along with demonizing each other is a national past time sport now
