The funny thing about their argument that it gives them more time to do other things is that I used to mess around with AI image generators for HOURS at a time trying to get the programs to output something that I was satisfied with. It will still take a significant amount of time to create something specific. I would rather learn how to draw myself or pay someone who knows how to do it for me. Its such a poor argument with no grounds to stand on. They don't know how much time, money, and energy they're actually spending on their generations.
