The only good AI art tool that I can think of is the art equivalent of pitch correction in music. AI generated images are worthless (especially since legally, AI generated images are not owned by anyone, as per the ruling made on the monkey that stole a camera and took a selfie), but AI tools like smart fill (idr what it's actually called. I'm a musician, not a visual artist) or filters still require a real image in order to do anything. Corridor Crew has made some good examples of what AI tools can do without resorting to image generation.
Also, I wonder how many AI "artists" think they own their images despite not actually being the one who made the image.
That gives me an idea I'm too technologically inept to employ: Fight AI slop with AI slop. Scrape AI generated images (which again, are legally not owned by anyone) to generate those images/images based off them. And make the training data public. This would both potentially mess with AI image scrapers by giving them garbage inbred data as well as the people behind them since "their" images were taken without their consent.
