I think art value has changed already. No matter what you do, things will never go back to what they were.
Making art is now more accessible than ever. I think if artist could still make money after AI, most argument will not even be presented. I never understood copyright laws and don't think I will.
No matter what you do, AI capabilities will improve. Even if these companies didn't "steal" art, they will reach same impressive results soon after anyway. They can hire new artists to generate massive datasets and create new websites for collective share of art copyright free.
AI will only get better.
