Dude this conversation makes no sense. Chatgpt generates answers that flow from a model based on how humans communicate. To call it out on automatic social grammar like saying sorry when you don't mean it, doesn't prove anything. It repeatedly explains clearly that they are just lubrication phrases, which they are in normal human conversations too, without intent to mislead. You can totally apologize for inconvience caused without feeling remorse, that isn't lying. He just cornered the Ai when it defined an apology as having to stem from remorse. Which it doesn't.
