I'll know when AI is fully conscious, when I see it walking across my dew covered lawn one morning towards my dog and myself and slip ever so slightly, just an inch or two forward, lean over, and articulate a stream of obscenities' whilst attempting, unsuccessfully, to excise the dog crap from between it's otherwise gleaming phalanges. I don't consider anything intelligent or conscious until it shows the proper response to the steamy dog crap test.
