You know what the sad thing is. AI couldve been an amazing tool for the world that could work to take work off the working mans backs but instead its being used by the elite trying to make working ppl obsolete so they can hoard money rather than use the AI to uplift us. AI would still bring up some ethical issues regardless like the IP stuff for artists but i do think their is ethical ways to do that. These AI companies need to stop using data they didnt pay for the rights to, to train models. even if it then produces stuff similair to other things in my opinion if its not trained on anybodies non free art it shouldnt be allowed. but i think bc its a bigger problem that big companies will use it to get rid of all the artists that its hard for ppl to think about how this also could help more indie developers and artists make more fleshed out content or pieces. But that isnt worth all artists basically losing their big company jobs bc all big companies just use AI to save a dime even if the product is worse.
