They need to implement UBI NOW before job loss reaches catastrophic levels. It will happen rapidly. Machine learning is exponential, and when AI reaches a certain apex the progression to higher intelligence will be almost instantaneous. The economy will break down when 20% of jobs are displaced. 20 will become 40. Very soon after as this job displacement causes saturation in wages because there will be too many people trying to flee into whatever remaining fields exist. I think we get to 90% unemployment very soon. 5-7 years max.
