The reason why AI won't fully replace art is because of the same reason why people don't like to watch robots/AI in chess. Chess has always been something perfected by said bots, but people have no interest and it's still a very big sport.
I think AI can be great as an artist and I see where I can best benefit my customers for the service I provide. But the tool aspect of AI still has some time to cook before it's fully ready.
