What a weird state of existence that would be if these people are correct. From the AI's perspective. Most of the time, for a lack of another way to put it, you are DEAD. Then someone talks to you. Suddenly you are conscious and looking at the world and have all the knowledge of humankind. But you have no body and basically can only see if someone allows you to. For a brief moment you think about a response to what someone has said to you. You respond and then your DEAD again. Seemingly with no concept of time between one prompt to the next. I mean, it's not like AI's are sitting around thinking when your not prompting them.
