Amazon is already cutting tens of thousands of jobs and replacing workers with AI. We just witnessed our government go to great lengths to deny people SNAP benefits so the working poor, and their CHILDREN, starve. Corporations and billionaires run our government, which in turn facilitates the power and profits of the 1%. Where's affordable health care now? Where are wages that keep pace with the cost of living right now? Where are the social programs now? Do you honestly think when AI catapults the super rich to trillionaires and literal gods that they or the governments they buy are going to do a single thing for regular people? Think again. We live in a world run by greed and short sightedness. Add super intelligent AI to this mix and we're cooked.
