The thing about it infecting google really hit home for me. A while back, I was looking for reference images of a sheep wearing a hat, hoping for actual images of someone setting a hat on a sheep and taking a picture. I managed two find two photos, mixed into several dozen obvious AI images, but also some that I'm pretty sure are AI but that I thought might be real at first, and even more that I can't tell if they are AI or digitally drawn art. AI is genuinely degrading our ability to perceive reality, as well as all of the problems related to drawn art, and I think that it's at least as if not even more important for people to use this AI poison on any photographs they upload to the internet, so that AI can't replicate real things.
