A guy flipped out on me on the road the other day. It was entirely his fault, but I was in his way. He wasn’t actually angry at me — he was angry at the interruption. AI has made that pattern easier to see because when I snap at it, the model stays steady. It doesn’t personalize anything. That contrast puts a mirror up to my own reactions with almost uncomfortable clarity.
It’s teaching me that anger travels to the nearest target, not the correct one. In Proverbs language, it’s the difference between someone whose spirit is under control and someone ruled by their storm. And now I’m learning to see the storm as not me — just something passing through.
