Nightshade and other data ‘poisoning’ tools don’t actually work, alter the aesthetics of the work, contribute to climate change by wasting computing resources, and ironically make work look _more_ like AI generated content, which is only a problem in light of the current witch hunts. Meanwhile corporations already have all the content they need, can afford to buy new content when they don’t, and would only benefit from additional legal and financial barriers to accessing this technology, which is exactly what your ilk are pushing for. But by all means continue to adopt snake oil, harm the environment (based on your own arguments), go after each other, and push for policies which ultimately give corporations even more power to replace creatives.
