The foundation of the current economy is consumption — people buying goods and services. What many companies fail to realize is that if employment disappears, no one will have money to buy those goods. YOUR EMPLOYEE IS ALSO YOUR CUSTOMER.
If AI takes over at this scale, the entire system will need to be reformulated. And if medium-sized companies go bankrupt, the question becomes: who will own the resources, and under what conditions will they be distributed to ordinary citizens?
