You know what, i enjoy learning a lot, but I don’t blame this guy one bit. The pressure to bs your way through interviews didn’t start with chatgpt. If you’re most people your survival in the economy is dependent on getting a job. That makes the price of mistakes extremely high. Maybe this guy discovered halfway through school he didn’t actually want to be a programmer but now he has 80k in student loans. That’s a horribly tough situation.
What I’m saying is, we have a system that doesn’t allow people to fail gracefully. Until we do, we’re going to keep drowning in bs.
