this is crazy fearmongering almost on the same lvl than teh internet ... yes AI WILL replace a lot of jobs that is obvious but for a lot of stuff mostly manual labor AI will never replace human and there is one simple reason, energy consumption. Models like ChatGPT are almost non profite because the sheer power volume it uses cant keep up with its usefullness. all the info it gather all the jobs it already automated dont bring in enough to make a huge profit. and to be clear ChatGBT is a specilized AI it cant do anythign outside of talking with you. Now many will say it can do math it can programm bla bla bla no it cant if you ask anything above high shool lvl math it has a huge mistake rate and in programming it can write a few lines yes but i cant create a bigger programm. Now you will say "ok but what about more general AIs?", the sheer commuting power is huge same as power consumption and will most of the time not beeing profiteable. jobs in factory wich arent replayed by already existing robots like in the car industry will not get replaced by AI just because its simply not worth it. if you could be replaced by a machine you already would be. We are currently at the edge of a huge AI bubble wich is about to blow up liek teh dot com one AI alredy isnt profitable the numbers we see with envidia are arificialy blown up.
