Private A.I is going bankrupt and investor funding will implode. A.I is not profitable and never will be. The people that need to worry about A.I and losing the jobs the most are digital artist, writers, and computer coders that develop A.I. The majority of the industry will crash and burn due to increasing costs for infrastructure and staff. While being massively unprofitable. It's being proped up by investors, who will eventually have unrealized gains. Corporations will cut funding due to eclipsing negative debt to revenue ratios. Layoffs will mill people in and out. Probably why a lot of those developers and researchers left is they realized the pyramid scheme and either wanted to dip out for something more stable, or to create their own pyramid scheme to syphone investor money. Very similar to the cryptocurrency boom. Ultimately, the only A.I that will remain will be A.I that is publically funded, since it is a negative cash sink just like waste management and recycling. The amount of people actually paying for A.I does not offset the infrastructure costs, development costs, or energy costs of private public A.I chat models. Tax payers will be the only thing to prop it up just like waste management. And it's all going to be military, and law enforcement. If you're working with A.I. you should try to get into a position with national defense or law enforcement, because every other A.I developer will fold their development and abandon it. Governments will host public chat variants of it to be licensed out to corporations, and will be free to use for citizens. There will still be some niche small scale grassroots startups sure, but they will be irrelevant. Just not enough server rooms, capacity, tokens. It's all going to crash and burn. A.I will be relegated to some ethereal omniscient presence remneicent to what people thought of the NSA back with Jillian Assange defected and whistleblowers leaked the US government was spying on citizens through Prism. Don't investment a penny into this unless you plan on selling out on a high.
