Whether or not AI makes art is a futile debate. Everything made by humans can be called art, if you stretch the word enough. One person can paint. Another can prompt. They are unequal fruits.
Photographers don't try to pass themselves off as oil painters.
Humans who use AI to create an image that models art should be acknowledged for the art they make. They wield instructive words within a given generator to some kind of non-measurable effect.
For me, I just don't think it's all that artsy to learn how to drive a computer processor.
Even if everyone agrees, the money to be made on the cheap being a Prompt Wizard will still make the grifters and easy-buck people fight hard to defend what they do. That's really the sad part.
