I'm not an economist and may be I'm taking a naive view of the impact of AI, but let's say it lives up to the hype and we see it replace say, 15% of the workforce? It's a bit fanciful to just be glib and say "oh well, this has been happening with every technological revolution and the people will just have to shift other parts of the economy.
