I don't like or dislike him because quite frankly he like most twitch streamers at the top are just trying to farm engagement and clips. But his audience like most are very echo chamber-y and honestly it's just more a reflection of how parasocial they are. When multimillionaires complain about how other jobs are more of a luxury is pretty funny given Twitch and Youtube are by far the biggest luxury job you could get in the modern day because it requires modern day luxuries to even use it let alone make money from it. Visual art doesn't, it's been done since the dawn of humanity especially visual arts like drawing and painting they have the lowest bar of entry for any skill. It's just most people aren't willing to put in the time and effort to get there and would rather take shortcuts. AI image generators are dollar store steak sure it's a steak but you could pay a couple bucks more for a better cut and quality that also isn't going to give you a parasite. If I was presented with the choice to gain master level art skills by hitting a button I wouldn't hit the button. It robs you the experience of actually growing and gaining the satisfaction that comes from learning a new skill and eventually mastering it. Everyone wants to be great at stuff but few are willing to work for it look at steroid usage with people who aren't even wanting to be pro body builders and just want to be happy with their body. AI in the way it's been implemented quite literally only serves the highest level of society because they serve to gain from it everyone else doesn't. It's a technology that caters to a lot of people in the modern day who are just mindless consumers and it's intended to be a mindless production machine. It's also been proven to be making people dumber it's an actual net negative in most fields it's being used in outside of medical field where it's spotting cancer. Also Asmond literally has said he had 0 dreams or aspirations and never intended on working... That alone should be enough to write off any opinion he has because he never intended on joining the workforce for anything he just wanted to game all day and he got extremely lucky
