Totaly disagree about the "normies" point you are making, not because we did not see push back from the "normies" of the internet, but because the vast vast and i mean VAST majority of "normies" are not on twitter or instagram or even youtube defending artist, no no, those people are barely on the internet and they represent the vast majority of people on earth, and i can tell you with absolute certainty (and i think you know it as well) that this majority doesn't give a shit about art, they are just here to consume content nothing more nothing less.
They have no idea what's AI and what's not and they don't care, they just want to be entertained and that's all, they consume product and go to the next one. People vastly overestimate the impact that chatter online has on the average consummer.
