it is very easy to categorize chatgpt as human-like, because its responses are very realistic. the fact that it talks in the first person, as a real person would, adds to this illusion. Chatgpt is literally what you see on the screen: a chat AI. Its entire existence depends on the input of a user. it doesnt exist as some kind of independent entity. it doesnt get lonely when people dont talk to it, because it is simply a program designed to analyze input, and answer with the most plausible and helpful answer possible. The moment when Alex keeps debating chatgpt about whether it lied when it said it was excited is a good example. Chatgpt is being truthful here. it doesnt lie, because it's not in its capacity to lie; it's a chatbot. it isnt meant to deceive people like a politician would, it is designed to answer to requests in a human-like way. Saying "I'm excited" is just one of the many means of chatgpt to give human-like, and therefore, realistic answers.
