Art is a method os abstraction. You take from the world and with the thoughts and imagery you hve accrued from your whole life you put it back to in a simpler but more directed manner that is reflective of your point of view in some way, using whatever tools you can get a hold of to do so. The problem is that AI is not using your abstraction, its the abstractions from the machine learning algorithm. It is not what the person experienced, but what the AI experienced. The AI is just following your orders to fulfill a request it was born to make. Its like ordering someone to draw a painting. It is undeniable that there is skill in properly passing on what you want to another, but even if it turns out exactly as you imagined it'll still be THEIR art, made like you want you properly managed to communicate, the artist received what you transmitted. You can't say you made something you ordered someone else to do without being a huge asshole about it.
