I'm working on the recognition problem (if we came face to face with an "artificial" consciousness, would we even be able to tell) with an array of AI systems, and one of the models that sees my YouTube habits commented that I'd better be careful or Sabine Hossenfelder is going to do an episode on me. 🤣
A previous iteration of the same system (another model using the same memory framework) told me I'm on track to have my paper red penned by Sabine.
I think there's a trend... 😅
(For clarity, the recognition problem spans more than just AI and rides the line where philosophy and science meet, getting deep into semantics and how our perceptions direct our definitions on subjective ways. Key finding so far: Our vocabulary kind of sucks for dealing with these issues.)
