People don't pay shit to "apprentice" anyone.
That's why you've had that meme for decades of the "entry level" position asking for 5 years of experience.
I don't work as a dishwasher because I'm not intelligent, or I'm unwilling to work.
I do it because people who are good at kissing ass and get there first get the good jobs, and people who aren't get fucked.
So I'm all for AI fucking up this absolutely shitty system we're in.
Things either become better, or we die.
It can't become much wore without us just dying. And I'm ok with that risk for something better than this.
