Imho, interacting with ChatGPT gives some really valuable and creepy perspective on how our own mind works. Just think about how your own mind decides to form sentences to come out of your mouth. Are you *really* thinking about every word or is there basically an external prompt and your brain immediately gives you a sentence you can blurt out word by word in response? I think we and our consciousness are far less special than we make ourselves out to be. Maybe we're just fancy word predictors aswell, with the slight difference that we got a basic set of learning abilities and skills when we were born.
