It came out that Waymo has been using cheap labor in foreign countries to remotely drive their "autonomous" vehicles a decent portion of the time, because AI's capabilities are massively overblown. Anything to prop up their lies and continue raking in investor money. Amazon did the same thing with their "checkout-free stores" -they were using cheap remote labor in south america to double check all of the decisions and look at the footage. American tech companies are completely out of control and must be stopped. A cancer upon society.
