Chat GPT is a tool. Right now many do not yet undestand what it actually does, but hear fantastical stories how Ai can do everything for you now, lulling them in a false sense of confidence and trust in the engine. Chat GPT does not have internet acess, it may vary it's answers dependoing on how you ask and it absolutely does not understand anything of what it is generating, even though it may seem like it does.
The best use for Ai I have seen is hyper specific and limited to data you collect yourself for a very limited purpose.
Using Ai to analyze astronomical data and check for marginal star movements,
Collecting scientific data and look for patterns to maybe recognize illnesses sooner etc
And below all Ai engines there still lies the existential threat that the way they collect their data is plainly illegal (theft) and needs to be shut down entirely or retrained based on legal data.
