From my vantage point, companies do not want to train entry level developers so its already obsolete unless you create your own company. In other words, if you are Senior or Junior with 5 years of Professional experience then you are fine but if you are entry it seems nobody cares so you are left with either starting your own company or project to become a Junior or you were never going to get employed as a developer anyways. AI just has solution it does not think so if your job is to do something like web, I think eventually their will be no need, so unless you are doing something truly complex then maybe Software Developers wont go away, but you can make an AI replace any job including programming nobody is safe. Once the AI can replace a Software Developer, then Companies are obsolete because anybody can make any Software they want with it;however, you have to have money to pay the people who made the tool otherwise you will have to be a Software Developer to make the products and save money.
