we do understand art, we just don't care about real art.
most of the time, i just want to look at pretty images, and i don't want to think what is the hidden meaning of that specific dust particle in the corner of the image...
speaking of with, can we adress the double standard against AI art ?
- if a human artist makes a minor mistake, and keep it in the art, that "adds value"
- when AI generated art has a minor mistake, that can be labeled as "ai slop" without trying to think behind, what that bug could mean in that image ?
we humans are great storytellers for f*ck sake, if i can make up a great reason for that specific error in human art, i can do the same with AI art too...
