This is very straightforward. In a previous case (Bartz vs Anthropic) Anthropic settled with Bartz because it was found that they used Pirated Materials to train their AI models. This opens the door to other people who may have had their pirated material used and stored in a similar way. This is not surprising. The Major Labels are trying to get paid now to make up for lost revenue due to competition by AI later. They know their monopolistic stranglehold on the industry is coming to an end.
