I just found this video in my recommendations. I'm a musician and artist who has recently been writing about AI vs Human produced art. I'm not happy with friends who make AI images by applying one program or another to someone's art and calling it their art. The difference is here: When a human makes art, it is an experiment. There are accidents and incidents unique to that individual human being and whatever that individual possesses. But I know one person who does beautiful portraits of celebrities...from published and copyrighted photos. Even that is wrong. The recent shame of the Guggenheim (which I'll permanently boycott) involved a frame from an independent film about a black cowboy. A so-called 'painter' did a very poor copy of that image and made it into the Guggenheim. It was hard core plagiarism and the arrogant response by that museum was unforgivable. A human decides which accidents to keep, enhance and grow the imagery from. That is the special nature of human generated music, dance, writing and visual art that works with our complex brains. Something goes wrong with our circuits when the art is too perfect, too fiddled with, too reproduced. It can be compared to eating Velveeta vs eating a beautifully aged cheddar. In reality, the process is even vastly more subjective and it leaves subtle, undefined irritations. You've done an important work here. I will be glad to pass your video on through CounterSocial, Tribel, Facebook and what's left of Twitter (which is actually quite lively now with anti-Muck people). As for Mastodon...I suspect some of the worst offenders are there.
