On current TV, there have been an interesting film posted called The Corporation. In that film, they examine with the idea of a corporation as though it were a human entity with emotions and thoughts.
Their conclusion was that the corporation is actually an eternal psychopath. All the sociopathic tendencies that the worst criminals have.
This did not bode well for a self-aware AI.
