Reporter’s argument: we should move toward European-style cities—better urban planning, more walkable spaces, fewer cars.
That’s a nice urban planning wishlist, but it doesn’t actually refute Waymo’s point. As long as cars exist, the question still stands: are humans or machines the safer drivers?
