No, no, no.
If I took several different images from other artists, clipped them together without any new additions or alterations, and said "Look, I made a new thing! I made it entirely myself!" without asking permission from those artists, or giving them credit after the fact, it would be *stealing*.
AI art does not account for consent or credit. It steals images. People have found personal, private records (like medical records) in databases, without their consent. It is theft, plain and simple.
Inspiration is not theft. We already jump asses for tracing.
