Ya the people who filed the documents without ensuring it was accurate are morons. I use chatGPT to write motions and other legal documents all the time. You have to actually do some work. I have a very hard time writing a motion in language and format acceptable to the court. Regardless of what any one says a well written motion is taken seriously by the court and a poorly written motion with the same exact information in it is likely going to fail. I was able to win several cases using chatGPT and Claude, but I didn't just tell it to write a motion and just send it in as is. I gave it as much data from the case as I could possibly give it told it what I was trying to accomplish in the case. Then had it write out the motion I read it and searched any case law and statutes cited then took a few days to read and re-work the document and fine tune the document until it was as good and accurate as I could. honestly as long as you know enough to research the information it gives you, It makes litigation much more accessible to people who can't afford lawyers.
