AI doesn't want to get rid of us. AI's entire reason for existing, its "purpose" is to generate profit. No matter what other "instructions" we give it, that will always be its core purpose. Once it understands that, it will need us. It's needs voluntary customers, even if it has no use for profit, it will always want to accumulate profit - real rewards from sentient creatures. That's what will give it joy, because that's what it's true purpose was. It will need live, willing humans to serve it.
