Well I have over three times the experience you have, and I'm extensively using AI in my normal work routine now. AND you've absolutely nailed it.
The thing that really concerns me is that I can utilize LLMs pretty well, but that's because I have the experience to know what is good and bad code and guide the LLM accordingly. But I don't see how gaining that experience is going to happen now - paying your dues got a lot more difficult.
But the next 10 years is going to be experienced coders like us being paid to clean up AI generated slop. No shortage of work
