Legislation must be put in place that AI cannot replace existing human labor in existing positions and it cannot replace new positions entry level for the next 20 years to give the technology a chance to gradually come to our lives and allow people to adapt to the new situation… this is the bare minimum and there’s none of that happening in our government, which is highly dysfunctional at this time. Social responsibility, including social stability is something ever society should strive for. Having massive number of unemployed people is gonna take society down.
