I understand that some people can't draw, or that their art is bad. Really, I get it, because I was there once. I would draw terrible boxy bodies and bullet-shaped heads because I thought that's how you drew people, then I would be confused at why it was so bad when I never much bothered to do much research. After years of not getting better, I finally did my research, PRACTICED, and put in the effort. My art isn't the best, but it's MINE. Using gen-ai to compensate for the utter lack of skill and self-discipline and then getting mad when REAL artists don't want their art-the results of YEARS of hard work- being stolen and trained on is absolutely ridiculous. Don't get me wrong, ai is useful and great for information. But it should ONLY be used for information and research, as a way to get resources and edify oneself with vast stores of knowledge that would take forever to comb through otherwise. AI art is soulless, and inhuman. I'd rather support real and HUMAN artists and artwork, not the lazy ai bros that don't even stop to think that they could draw as good as the greats if they put forth the effort. It's either they don't think they can, or they're too lazy for it. Support humanity, not robotic lifelessness.
