The flaw with current day companies is that they never look at anything long-term or from a broader perspective. They will sell away all of their company through stocks for brief reward but long-term penalty. They will refuse to train/hire new workers and will only use older workers until none remain. They will replace all their workers with AI and wonder why no one has the money to buy things and why nothing innovative is made anymore. They keep increasing prices of product and decreasing quality of product, yet wonder why sales decrease. They will hire workers because of their minority status instead of their merit, leading to an influx of incompetent employees. Companies make their policies as anti-employee as possible yet wonder why their employees have become so demoralized and apathetic. There are many pillars that hold up society, and many institutional and political powers within the past few centuries have been slowly destroying each pillar until there is nothing else to keep society functioning.
