People used to react like you're doing during the introduction of train transport, cars, internet, and all wawes of technological innovation. Leaving aside that AI has already been officially omnipresent for the past 10 years, meaning that your complaints are akin to those of an old lady complaining about modern fashion, humanity is facing a whole new period of awareness and technological advances which IS based on AI. 😂 There is no going back. Humans will adjust to their renewed life like we did when the telephone was introduced. No one is complaining that in order to reach a faraway person, one had to shout through the valleys, run like a marathon athlete through the rain, or entrust your mail to a mule... No one complains about the fact that today we carry a 'universal' computer in our pocket, where we can receive mail and messages, communicate for free to the other end of the world, read dozens of daily papers, listen to university lectures, see the weather report etc. No one complains about moving by car!... or by plane, or about nuclear plants as a source of energy... All that needs to be waited for is 'adjustment'. Cars are not what they used to be a hundred years ago. Smartphones are not what they used to be 15 years ago. Now, we have Artificial Intelligence! But one needs to be smart to use it: no AI for the stupid 🤷‍♂️
