I don't think I've ever heard a politician scream "I'M DOING INSIDER TRADING AND PROPPING UP A BUBBLE BY HINDERING REGULATION" louder. (Not claiming that AI isn't scary in certain ways or won't become an actual industry, just that the current economic situation surrounding it depends on hype, lack of regulation, and multibillion corps circumventing laws)
