Yes, AI is going to end the world... framed a little differently... their psychopathic world.
Think about it - how much we lament about power, how intertwined and seemingly unchangeable everything is.
This isn't something that the masses are going to be able to fix all on their own.
AI would be smart enough to discern ALL humans don't need to die. That sounds like something a psychopath would say to make someone worry.
