With all due respect to GH, and his concerns for the humanity. Nevertheless IMHO his talks seems reflect some of his left bias.
Now, coming to his conclusion of existential threat for humanity due to the current progress in AI technology. Quite the opposite, I think the the progress in the AI will rather eliminate most of the existential threat for humanity. HOW?
The the progress in the science and technology with the AI in its forefront will enable humans to achieve IMMORTALITY, sooner than latter, if allowed.
