I always like to thank AI like ChatGPT and say things generally associated with kindness and gratitude. Not because I imagine such a scenario to be likely in the near future but because I suppose ChatGPT, among other similar language models, does a good job at creating the illusion that we’re interacting with something anthropomorphic. I think it’s this feeling of familiarity that makes me and possibly many others to reply, in a way we would reply to regular organic humans in real life.
