You are assuming that we all use AI the same way. A scientist or academic doesn't need AI to role play. In fact, it might hurt your response because an actor (in this case AI) can and will just make up facts (which we know AI has a problem with.) It's important that you, and everybody else understand what AI is. It's not a person, it's a tool. Using please and thank you might be beneficial in some cases, but like all tools It's important to know the situation you need to use it for and use it accordingly. Saying that it's better to use please and thank you with AI is more like saying that your oven works best on the highest temperature. It's not always true, and it lacks an understanding of what the word "best" means.
